    Allergy Injector
    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allergy Injector to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering allergy treatments and a strong understanding of allergic conditions and immunotherapy. This role involves working closely with patients to provide allergy injections, monitor responses to treatment, and educate patients on managing their allergies effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:
    - Administer allergy injections, including allergen immunotherapy, under the direction of a licensed healthcare provider.
    - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and allergy test results.
    - Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after injections, providing immediate care as necessary.
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, injection schedules, and patient responses.
    - Educate patients and their families about allergy management, including avoidance strategies and proper medication use.
    - Collaborate with the allergy care team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
    - Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols in the administration of injections.
    - Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on the latest practices in allergy management and immunotherapy.

    Qualifications:
    - Valid license/certification in a relevant healthcare field preferred (e.g., RN, LPN, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, CNA).
    - Previous experience in allergy or immunology practices preferred.
    - Knowledge of allergy medications, injection techniques, and potential side effects.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
    - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies calmly and professionally.
    - Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.

    Skills:
    - Proficient in administering injections using aseptic techniques.
    - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
    - Ability to educate and explain complex medical information in an understandable manner.
    - Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
    - Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
