    We are looking for an Event Coordinator to help us make events at Alley the best for our clients!

    As the “face” of Alley, you will be responsible for caring for our guests from the pre-event coordination process through the onsite execution of their event. You'll be part concierge and part human swiss-army knife, going above and beyond to support our clients with the resources, information, and experience they need to have a successful and fulfilling event experience! 

    You will work in conjunction with the event sales lead to clients who have confirmed their contracts through the remainder of their planning process, gathering additional information, making sure their needs are accommodated with the building, liaising with their vendors and preparing for day-of execution.  On the day of the event, you will oversee the set up, maintain the timeline, trouble-shoot any last minute changes/challenges that arise and ensure that they client's vision is brought to life. While onsite you will also forge connections, be an inviting and hospitable presence and attend to their clients guests. This means you're energetic. You're lively. You love meeting people.     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate with management to ensure client needs are collected and implemented for set-up, AV, coordination with the building, submitting request for FSD's and COI's, marketing, etc.
    • Manage day-of-event operations including setting up the space, supporting client needs, and checking in guests and resetting the floor for the next day
    • Build the run of show, contact list and floor plan for day of execution
    • Maintain proper communication channels with management, clients and all pertinent stakeholders 
    • Coordinate with the marketing/social media team on content creation
    • Managing AV & Sound during events 
    • Provide exceptional hospitality to clients, guests, and members within the space
    • Proactively maintain and upkeep the space
    • Maintain the distinct Alley aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience executing day-of operations for events 
    • Must be able to move objects / carry items up to 35LBS
    • Be comfortable working with simple AV / Sound systems
    • Should be detail oriented and have a keen eye for aesthetics
    • Must be able to manage multiple tasks while keeping calm under pressure
    • Experience in the customer service and/or hospitality industry
    • Must have strong and personable verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects/deliverables
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Must know how to use Gmail and Google Docs
    • Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
    • Must have a positive, can-do attitude
    • Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Knowledge of the entrepreneurial / startup ecosystem and community is preferred, but not required

    Exempt 40+ hours / week. Flexible schedule required based on event needs. Nights and weekends required.
