    Job Description

We provide services to all types of qualified retirement plans, with particular emphasis on 401(k) plans. With a special focus on consulting, compliance, and other administration services, we are committed to providing the highest level of retirement plan consulting, plan management, and administrative services to the business community.

    We are seeking a professional, energetic, and experienced Retirement Plan Document Consultant and Manager for our Documents Team. Successful candidates must have a results-oriented outlook with ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver on key initiatives and deadlines.  Individuals in this position will treat communication approaches as a personal opportunity to demonstrate the value ABG brings to the client/customer relationship and provide professional, and personalized servicing contacts either by email or telephone. 

    Responsibilities for this position include the following:

    • Plan design consulting, including responsibility for consultative plan design with plan sponsors and advisors.
    • Merger and Acquisitions review and consulting.
    • VCP preparation and filings.
    • Qualified Domestic Relations Order reviews for qualification.
    • Restate and prepare plan documents and plan amendments.
    • Preparation and delivery of plan annual notices.

     

    Qualifications for this position include the following:

    • Strong technical knowledge in ERISA, Internal Revenue Code & Regulations, and IRS correction programs.
    • Ability to research, interpret and explain technical compliance issues. 
    • Ability to meet deadlines with a high level of attention to detail. 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Minimum 5 years technical experience.
    • Bachelors’ degree preferred. 
    • ASPPA/NIPA or other industry designations a plus.
