    FP &A - Financial Analyst

    This is a great opportunity for an early career Financial Analyst who is looking for a new challenge in an established, well-respected industry leader. A publicly traded, Tulsa headquartered diversified natural resources company is looking to add a Financial Analyst to their FP&A Department. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, they will work closely with finance, operations management, accounting, and senior management teams in the consolidation of annual operating plan, quarterly plan forecasts, and long-term strategic plan. They will work with finance and treasury in the compilation of debt compliance as well as periodic cash management as needed. They will also assist in compilation of budgets and financial statements for potential new acquisitions as needed.     • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.

    • Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.

    • Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.

    • Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

    • Research, analyze and gather information to support various business activities, revenue and expense trends, market analysis, etc.

    • Perform other ad hoc analysis as requested.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3 - 5 years forecasting and analysis experience in either public accounting or corporate environment.
    • Ability to interpret and apply financial planning and analysis methods and procedures.
    • Experienced in preparing and analyzing consolidated financial statements
    • Experienced in interpreting and applying generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Experienced in use of software such as: Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visual Basic
    • Experienced working in a team environment.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and deliverables
    • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills.

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required
