    This position will contribute to the client relationship management function of AMR, including developing and expanding strong business and client service relationships within the contract research and pharmaceutical markets, with emphasis on development and oversight of strategic partnerships among key Pharma/Biotech and CRO sponsors. Support overall Business Development efforts as requested by Chief Business Officer.

    The Strategic Partnerships position reports to the Chief Business Officer.

    This is a remote position and will accept applicants outside of the New Jersey area.

    Classification: Exempt

    General Responsibilities (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)

    Establish a broad and growing client base with Sponsors/CRO’s to promote all AMR services. Facilitate and support execution of Master of Clinical Trial Agreements and Master Confidentiality Agreements by:

    Identifying and cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers by developing and maintaining an understanding of client needs, how AMR services help Sponsor’s/CRO’s meet their enrollment goals, operational challenges, and other trial activities.

    Maintain dialogue with Strategic Partners across Pharma/Biotech/CRO space through regular pipeline update teleconferences in conjunction with Business Development Team and provide monthly updates to the Chief Business Officer.

    Collaborate effectively with the Business Development Team to present company in an approach that addresses client needs, concerns and objectives in a timely and thorough manner.

    Facilitate cross-organization education and training across the industry through development and presentation of introductory AMR webinars and teleconferences to increase awareness and presence of AMR across the clinical trial arena.

    Arrange and facilitate meetings between client decision-makers and company practice leaders and principals, including CRO bid defense representation and participation in client teleconferences as well as any face-to-face meetings to move toward the goal of gaining entrance early-on in the development process. This includes on-site presentations to sponsors and relevant team members.

    Proactively introduce the Chief Business Officer and Business Development team to your network of industry professionals.

    Maintain strong professional relationships with industry leaders, and remain abreast of developments by monitoring industry activity on various forms of media (industry publications, LinkedIn or other social media, professional organizations, webinars, etc.)

    Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales and activity goals as established by the Chief Business Officer and the AMR executive team.

    Actively promote AMR at every opportunity and in the best professional manner possible, including introduction and deference to other staff with the common mission of enhancing AMR reputation across the industry.

    In collaboration with the Business Development team, and under the guidance of the Chief Business Officer, play an active role at the industry conferences, including preparation of panel presentations and other industry opportunities to promote and extend the AMR brand.

    Regularly update the CRM system (Pipeline Deals) with all communication (written and verbal) regarding clients and prospects.

    Submit activity and results reports including but not limited to: Strategic Partner Liaison call notes, industry conference summaries, interaction and follow-up performed either solo or in concert with the Business Development Team.

    Prepare and deliver client or prospect presentations utilizing AMR standard formats and templates, and ensure all presentations are reviewed and approved by the Chief Business Officer.

    Align your messaging and discussions (externally and internally) with AMR standards.

    Proactively take responsibility for assignments and requests as identified by or assigned to the Business Development Team.

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    · Clinical Research Site or CRO business development experience desired

    · Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets

    · Bachelor’s degree in science or business OR 5+ years in clinical research

    · Graduate school experience a plus (e.g., MBA or M.S. course work), but not required

    · Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities

    · Ability to intuitively understand, anticipate, and respond to biopharma clients’ needs

    · Ability to travel as assigned or needed (estimated at 50%), including supporting AMR at industry conferences, meeting client representatives at AMR sites or biopharma/CRO HQs, etc.

    · Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment where processes change and improve continually with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to problem-solving and system improvement

    · Able to function independently without constant supervision and adapt to change.

    · Positive attitude and the ability and desire to work in a company that embraces collaboration and a team approach.

    · Sales CRM experience preferred and must have ability to maintain a database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors

    · Prepares spreadsheets, charts, tables, and graphs in Excel using advanced formulas, functions, and tools. Develops and manages various reports.

    · Professional and highly motivated “self-starter” with the ability to exercise initiative.

    · Excellent task management and prioritization skills.
