    Our client is actively seeking a talented Programmer Analyst Specialist- SAP Interface Developer to work at their location in Richmond, VA. This is a 2.5-year contract assignment.

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    SAP Interface Developer

    Our Client has filed for and received regulatory approval to replace its current Customer Information System and several other critically dependent customer applications including the web & mobile self-service platform (Manage Account), call center platform (Gateway), meter data management (MDM) and other associated systems that are collectively referred to as the Customer Information Platform (CIP) Solution.

    Our Client has selected SAP’s S/4HANA for Utilities and C/4HANA Service Cloud & Marketing Cloud software for its new Customer Information Platform. The CIP initiative launched in July 2020 and will be implemented at the end of Q1 2023.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    This position is for an experienced resource to develop system interfaces between internal Our Client’s applications and the SAP software suite using standard SAP protocols. Specific responsibilities include:

    • Develop, test, implement, and document application configuration components within SAP PO/CPI

    • Work independently and/or within teams throughout all phases of the Program

    • Communicate and coordinate with end-users, business analysts, and systems analysts to determine features, requirements and solution design

    • Document technical specifications and designs

    • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues / testing failures as needed

    • Adhere to Program specific design, coding, naming conventions, and standards

    • Participate in configuration/code reviews and apply corrections as required

    • Adhere to applicable change control processes

    • Design and create documentation, application operational processes and procedures

    • Design individual Reports, Interfaces, Conversion Programs, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow (RICEFW) components per the RICEFW inventory

    • Assist in defining and reviewing the technical requirements for the application, including security, integration, performance, and quality requirements

    • Create the technical designs for the individual RICEFW components, based on the business requirements provided in the RICEFW functional designs

    • Inform the Development Lead of any issues that may affect other areas of the Program

    • Participate in quality reviews to ensure traceability of the designs to the requirements

    • Participate in transitions of the customization functional designs from the RICEFW functional designer

    • Participate in testing of the RICEFW component, after programming completion and ensure the component meets the stated technical design requirements

     REQUIREMENTS:

    • 10+ years of SAP PO interfaces design, development, testing and deployment experience.

    • SAP and Non-SAP systems integration

    • Experience in S4 HANA
