Essential Functions:

• Direct all aspects of quality and safety
• Manage HACCP and GMP programs and audits, oversee corrective action as necessary
• Resolve customer complaints
• Implement policies and procedures
• Collaborate with various departments
• Oversee a team of ten quality personnel
• Develop and update SOP’s
• Serve as SQF Practitioner
• Lead all risk assessment activities
• Develop programs and ensure compliance with FDA regulations
• Test, monitor and improve plant process
• Comply with SQF, USDA, and OSHA regulations

 Background and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Food Science preferred
• 5+ years of plant operations experience or equivalent education & experience
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in food processing plants
• Root cause analysis or Six Sigma experience preferred
• GFSI, HACCP and PCQI certifications preferred
• Collaborative demeanor, ready to make improvements
