Job Description
Position: Data Scientist - Sales Analytics
Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly
Work Schedule: (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
- Monday to Wednesday: 8:45 am - 6:00 pm (in-office)
-Thursday: 8:45 am – 2:00 pm (in-office)
- Friday: Off
- Saturday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm (work from home)
- Sunday: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (work from home)
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: Determined based on experience and degree of learning
- Capped at 40 hours per week (overtime may be required)

Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Convoso tool to organize and analyze company data for cost per sale calculations.
- Gather and input information on cost per lead, payouts from sales, and vendor rates.
- Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and integration within the Convoso tool.
-Analyze lead acquisition budgets and expenditures to identify opportunities for optimization.
-Develop data-driven models and algorithms to predict lead quality and conversion rates.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for lead acquisition.
-Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to evaluate the effectiveness of lead acquisition strategies.
-Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large and complex datasets to inform strategic decision-making.
-Design and implement experiments and A/B tests to measure the impact of different lead acquisition approaches.
-Develop data visualization and reporting tools to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.
- Collaborate with management to understand task requirements and goals.
- Observe processes and identify areas for improvement to contribute to increased production and cost reduction.
- Adhere to confidentiality agreements and handle sensitive data responsibly.
- Complete 3-4 weekly tasks assigned by management and demonstrate initiative in proposing additional tasks based on observation.
- Work closely with the team to meet outcome goals, such as increased production and reduced costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing the company tools for data organization and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management.
- Task-oriented mindset with the ability to complete assigned tasks and propose additional tasks based on observation.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data handling protocols.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving outcome goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the health insurance industry and knowledge of production and cost reduction strategies.
