Job Description
Customer Service Representative duties include entering orders for our customers via telephone or email, scanning completed orders, invoicing and preparing quotations. This is an excellent position for someone just starting in the business world with regular Monday-Friday hours (no weekends or overtime necessary) and lots of perks like bonuses, vacation time, holidays, 401K, fully paid medical & dental in a relaxed, fun environment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Knowledge of customer service functions including order taking, dealing/speaking well with customers, emailing, invoicing
• Understanding of ERP software (we use SAP) or ability to quickly learn new software (ours is not difficult at all)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with customers
• Problem-solver, self-starter, fast, goal oriented, highly organized, and team oriented
• Friendly and good with customers, and with a track record of continuous improvement and quality performance
• Ability to read and understand complex documents such as purchase orders and government contracts.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Demonstrate solid work performance in an environment requiring high level of attention to detail and timeliness
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities
