JOB DESCRIPTION
As a VALPRO SERVICE COORDINATOR & TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE you will be responsible for providing technical product support to customers, dealers and service technicians. Working with our warranty service personnel, sales team, and warehouse personnel to provide product support and warranty support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Help customers trouble shoot equipment problems.
· Identify the customer’s equipment service needs as either warranty or non-warranty covered issues.
· Maintain knowledge of our product line and product parts.
· Initiate the warranty service process with our warranty service personnel to begin the warranty service process.
· Provide technical and part support to our warranty service personnel as needed.
· Support warranty service providers with product support documentation and troubleshooting.
· Coordinate shipping of parts needed for warranty service with our warranty service personnel.
· Audit service company invoicing to be in accordance with our warranty service reimbursement guidelines.
· Work collaboratively with company personnel.
· Customer satisfaction and follow up is critical.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
· Previous technical experience or basic understanding of HVAC or HVAC-R systems preferred.
· Ability to learn troubleshooting steps to identify and correct issues with refrigeration equipment.
· Prior customer service background is a plus.
· Professional, effective communication skills- verbal and written
· Ability to learn company ERP software. Familiarity with Fishbowl Inventory, Officetrax and CRM platforms are a plus.
· Self-motivated with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
· Ability to work well with others as a team.
· Minimum education required: High school diploma or higher education.
COMPENSATION
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
