    Qualifications / Requirements POSITION WILL BE REMOTE

     

     

    This remote role is responsible for supporting intelligence operations for the Global Intelligence Services (GIS) department, with a focus on strategic (long-term, high-level) assessments reviewing global all-source intelligence. This role will be responsible for monitoring and collection, analysis, and production of intelligence concerning the global threat environment (including, but not limited to, civil unrest, terrorism, crime, geopolitical stability, and environmental hazards) as it relates to Allied Universal® clients. The candidate should be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, supporting a larger team, and communicating with all levels in an organization, and must be able to maintain a high level of ethical conduct and confidentiality. The candidate should further be experienced reporting on time-sensitive security concerns, while strictly adhering to the established analytic standards of being objective, accurate, timely, relevant and actionable. Experience in graphic design, social media, GIS, and physical risk assessments are considered highly beneficial.

     

    DU TIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reliably work with little or no supervision, including at times under stressful conditions
    • Monitor all-source intelligence, evaluating and analyzing it to identify security trends and medium- and long-term security concerns
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments
    • Maintain a thorough expertise in global affairs and current events
    • Maintain the highest level of ethical conduct, including maintaining highly sensitive and confidential information
    • Interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers
    • Assist with visual design and editorial review of intelligence services
    • Coordinate and communicate with client support staff and subsidiaries
    • Support employee and client relations, including providing verbal briefings
    • Assist in the organization of intelligence collection and products
    • Initiate, execute and maintain intelligence relationships inside and outside the organization
    • Assist with intelligence training for internal and external stakeholders

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS  

    • Bachelor’s Degree in intelligence studies, national security, political science, international affairs, criminology, statistical analysis or other relevant four-year degree from an accredited program
    • 1 - 3 years of previous work experience (including internships). Relevant experience beneficial although not required, in national security, military intelligence, criminal intelligence analysis or corporate intelligence analysis
    • A proven ability to thrive in independently and efficiently handling multiple time sensitive projects, rapid change and ambiguity while maintaining the highest analytical standards and direct contact with intelligence consumers, including making challenging judgment calls in the absence of senior leaders
    • Analytical expertise necessary to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product. This includes critical analysis, identifying threats and developing leadership decision support content
    • Deep understanding of current global threat environment and trends, including — but not limited to — terrorism, geopolitical stability, civil unrest, and crime trends
    • Professional writing and briefing skills, with the ability to clearly communicating highly technical security concepts to non-security audiences in business terms
    • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience learning and quickly becoming proficient in software applications, such as intelligence analysis and data collection tools, social media aggregators and analysis tools and geographic information systems
    • Superior customer service orientation

    QU A LI FICATIONS TO ENHANCE HIRING  

    • Experience researching in foreign languages without fluency in language
    • Experience assessing physical risk such as access control
    • Basic understanding of cyber security and wider technological developments
    • Familiarity with social media monitoring, or strong familiarity with social media
    • Familiarity with graphic design software, such as Photoshop and InDesign
    • F amiliarity with GIS software
    • Military or Law Enforcement Intelligence Analyst experience
    • Postgraduate Degree
