    Job Description

    Reporting Directly to the Vice President of Client Delivery, the On-Site Program Manager oversees AlliedUP nurses that are placed and working at clients’ facilities. Chosen candidate will have experience in professionally and respectfully advocating for nurse employees when colleague or client challenges arise and managing positive outcomes.

     

    As the Senior On-Site Program Manager, you will act in both an individual capacity and provide oversight to a small team of administrative personnel. Facilitates daily program operations; demonstrates knowledge of time and attendance systems at a sufficient level to ensure accurate timekeeping, payroll and invoicing. Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with facility policies and procedures and policies and procedures of AlliedUP, California Employment Law including Wage and Hour law as it applies to hospital employees.

     

    Acting as the On-Site Program Manager and team lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and/or directing team members to ensure activities are completed in a timely fashion. Activities include, but are not limited to:

     

    · Creating employee engagement programs offering initiative-taking support for AlliedUP nurses

    · Coordinate open client positions and serve as liaison between client’s needs and AlliedUP staff

    · Administer timekeeping system, badging systems and create processes for daily attendance tracking, timekeeping error resolution and oversee accurate payroll data by established deadlines

    · Communicate and assure compliance for State breaks and meal periods by keeping an available list of break nurses and scheduling break nurses at the appropriate times

    · Assist with monitoring and compliance of contracted nurse/patient ratios and alert AlliedUP leadership if compliance is problematic.

    · In cooperation with Client’s employees, coordinate schedule changes, department transfers and pay rate updates as needed.

    · Conduct verbal/ written coaching towards the goal of improving performance, attendance or behavior

    · Communicate assignment terminations in compliance with all applicable California Employment Laws including Wage and Hour laws.

    · Tracking and paying meal penalties weekly and collaborating with Client’s staff towards reducing meal penalties through proper oversight and management

    · Research billing and time approval inconsistencies required to achieve a successful resolution.

    CULTURE LEADERSHIP

    The On-Site Manager models AlliedUP’s mission and operating principles through decision making and actions, supports the training of team members and practices Leadership that includes being fair, equitable and advocating on behalf of the Nurses at the client facilities. Acts as mentor and coach to On-Site Team to assist them in achieving their assigned tasks with quality in mind. Ability to work well as part of a team, successfully interact with a wide range of personalities and lead with courtesy, dignity and respect for all.

     

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    Demonstrated experience through skills testing of elevated level of competency in computer skills including, Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, data entry skills and additional systems that are an inherent part of the functioning in the role. Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, software and hardware issues in partnership with technical support team.

     

    RISK MANAGEMENT

    Serve as the liaison for Nurses and Hospital Administration for work-related accidents or injuries. Functions as the lead, on-site insurance contact for collecting and submitting claims reports associated with incidents.
