· TIME MANAGEMENT: The Business Administrator will wear many hats; being able to successfully juggle competing priorities will require a high degree of organization and time management.
· ENTREPRENEURIAL : Allison wants to focus her time on client interaction and design. For us to grow, we need you to take the reins to improve our media presence, look for networking and business development opportunities and take initiative to improve our internal processes and operations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· VENDOR AND SUB CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT: Scheduling, sourcing, details and pricing, purchasing, monitoring orders, delivery, receipts, and inventory
· BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION: Basic bookkeeping, invoicing, process and systems development, database management, document creation, filing, answering phones and emails, and travel arrangements
· CLIENT MANAGEMENT: Scheduling, timely communication (phone, email) and documentation (proposals, LOA), following up with clients (present, past, and future)
· BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Marketing, PR, social media, newsletter, press kits, networking events, strategic partnerships, calling builders/realtors, researching affiliations and organizations
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Minimum of 2 years office experience in, but not limited to: bookkeeping, customer service, AP/AR Billing, administrative procedures, and project coordination. Fully proficient with Mac OS: Word, Excel, Keynote and Dropbox
· Able to travel to and work from main office or remotely at client, vendor, or storage facilities
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business or related field
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and Occasional work is performed off-site at client, vendor, or storage facilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role with repetitive computer usage. Occasionally the job requires walking, standing, bending
Hours: M-Th 9-6, F- 9-1
Salary: $17.00 to $22.00 /hour
