A large Healthcare Organization is looking for Contract to hire Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Located: Tampa FL, 33634

Ideal candidate background: Pharmacy Technician worked in Sterile Compound 

CPR+ Software (not required)

Team of 9 Pharmacy Technicians, 7 pharmacists

Responsibilities for this position?
a. Dispense any or all of the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
b. May compound medications using appropriate components, supplies and sterile/ventilated environment.
c. Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system. Contact members/patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details, consult on medication issues, and set up treatment in on-site facilities.
d. Process prescriptions or prior authorization cases through on-line systems -Enter data (e.g., member or clinical) into computer systems that is used for making automated or clinical decisions.
e. Utilize phone systems effectively to answer, make or transfer calls

Skills/attributes are a must have:
a. License Pharmacy tech, 1+ year experience
b. Sterile compounding, CPR+ Software, Microsoft suite
c. Pharmacy Tech License

Work hours \- 8:30-5:00pm

Is overtime or weekend work a requirement?
a. Not required but possible overtime
