    A large managed care organization has a Full-time CONTRACT to Hire Position for a licensed Pharmacy Technician in Marina, CA 93933.

    Must have experience, requires current California pharmacy technician license or national certification without restrictionsalong with excellent communication skills, and professional demeanor. Interact with external customers in a courteous manner via telephone.

    • PAY: $20.00 per hour
    • CONTRACT: Contract to Hire (06/24/2022)
    • HOURS: 8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday- Friday - OT may be required based on business needs
    • LOCATION: Marina, California 93933
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.

    Requirements:

    Requires current California pharmacy technician license or national certification without restrictions. Commitment to professionalism and a dedicated desire to advance patient care
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

    Ideal but not required: Bilingual- Spanish

    Job duties 

    POP_Navigate Computer Systems to Research or Record Drug Benefit or Clinical Information B) Developing
    • -Navigate in and between internal and external computer systems quickly to respond to questions or find drug benefit or clinical information
    • -Process prescriptions or prior authorization cases through on-line systems
    • -Enter data (e.g., member or clinical) into computer systems that is used for making automated or clinical decisions
    • -Utilize phone systems effectively to answer, make or transfer calls
    • -Demonstrate proficiency in navigating basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office software)
    • POP_Collect Information to Support or Make Clinical or Member Benefit Decisions B) Developing
    • -Review cases, orders, or prescriptions as they are received to determine urgency and accuracy
