A large Healthcare organization is looking to hire a CONTRACT Patient Access Representative Associate for 3 MONTHS in the DENTON, TX area.
Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for greeting and welcoming patients in person. Provides a standard registration process by collecting demographic and financial data and enter
information into an electronic medical record.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Greets and welcomes patient in person
• Collects demographic and insurance information
• Checks in or interviews patient to complete appropriate paperwork
• Directs patient to their appointment or procedure
• May assist in scheduling add-on appointments
• Verifies eligibility and benefits information for payers and interprets results
• Obtains signatures from patients as needed
• Collects co-pay or deductibles and respond to questions regarding financial assistance programs available. Refers complex questions as needed
• Uses resources, tools, and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues
• Assists patient in completion of request for information forms and submits to appropriate department
• May gather medical record information from all departments for collection

Required Qualifications:
• 6+ months of customer service experience in an office environment
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Intermediate level of proficiency with computers (dual monitors, navigating between multiple programs, etc.)
• Ability to work 40 hours per week 8 am to 5pm
• Must be 18 years or older

• Revenue Cycle Experience
• General office experience
• Primary Care experience
Soft Skills:
• Ability to sit for extended periods
