    A large managed care organization has a Full-time CONTRACT TO HIRE Position for Associate clinical administrator.

    Must have two years of related work experience, including data entry along with excellent communication skills, and professional demeanor. Interact with internal and external customers in a courteous manner in person and via telephone.

     

    • PAY: $18.00 per hour
    • CONTRACT: Contract to Hire!
    • HOURS: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
    • LOCATION: : KS-OVERLAND PARK -66210

    Minimum Required Education, Experience & Skills
    §High school diploma or GED equivalent required
    §Health Care related experience 1-2 years
    §Effective verbal and written communication skills
    §Strong customer service skills
    §Detail oriented with organizational and time management skills
    §Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including: Excel, Word and Outlook


    Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
    §Medical Assistant experience
    §Knowledge of basic medical terminology
    §Referral management experience 1-2 years
    §Medical Insurance experience 1-2 years
    §Customer Service 1-2 years
    §Bilingual
    Work Schedule is M-F 8am to 5pm

     

    Description:

     

    Under the supervision of the Clinic Administrator, this position is responsible for the daily coordination of referral processes and other duties as assigned.

    Essential Job Functions
    1\. Manage the internal/ external referral process and daily referral reconciliation
    2\. Answers telephone and assists caller through the phone queue and back office phone line
    3\. Participate in clinic and market education/training, as needed and/or required
    4\. Maintains knowledge and ensures procedures are followed including referral guidelines and policies, privacy, and confidentiality
    5\. Deliver quality customer service, managing the referral process professionally and timely
    6\. Work independently and act as a resource or subject matter expert (SME) for others
    7\. Manage and prioritize tasks that may include compiling reports and spreadsheets
    8\. Maintain professionalism and positive service attitude with all internal and external customers/peers
    9\. Performs all other related duties as assigned
