Large managed care organization has a CONTRACT opportunity for a Clinical Healthcare Writer to work at home (during COVID ) but eventually commute to the Dulles Airport area in Washington, DC .

Pay: $37.00

Hours 8:30 am-5:30 pm EST.

Location – telecommute for now due to COVID - located in Washington DC near Dulles Airport

Qualifications/requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in English or journalism

- Health care experience

- Proven experience in technical writing or other professional writing/editing

- Ability to understand business concepts and make them easily understandable in text and, to a limited extent, graphics

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong PowerPoint skills, ability to work within set templates

- Ability to work independently

- Strong attention to detail

Description:

- Read and synthesize research documents on health care operations and management (documents are generally about 12-40 pages)

- Translate business research into easy-to-understand text that is clear, concise, and accessible to a wide audience

- Rewrite research content to adhere to new editorial standards and templates

- Collaborate with research and editorial staff as necessary

- Copy edit and proofread short documents (approximately 10-12 pages)

- Ensure that documents adhere to Advisory Board Research content governance and goals
