Large managed care company is looking for a Pharmacist to provide supervision of all activities in the warehouse. The candidate will work closely with 2 sterile compounding technicians and 1 prep room technician as well as 4 warehouse technicians. The candidate will also collaborate with other dispensing Rphs and technicians throughout the day.

PAY: $65.00

DATES: CONTRACT TO HIRE

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:30-5 (40 hr/wk). Occasional on-call coverage may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as a "production pharmacist" reviewing sterile compound work order for accuracy and completeness prior to compounding per policy.
• Perform final quality check of all compounded products
• Supervise compounding technician in the sterile complex per policy
• Perform final check of all products pulled and ready to ship in the warehouse
• Assist warehouse technicians to maintain and control pharmacy inventory
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctorate
• License to practice in CA is must. Additional NV license is desirable
• 1yr experience in hospital setting, familiar with IV therapies (abt, TPN, biologics), and sterile compounding practice.
• 1 year experience with IV therapies, familiar with USP 797 and sterile compounding.
• Detail oriented, good time management skills, goal and team oriented.
