ABOUT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE – LEXINGTON, MA
Our Business Development team is looking for an associate to support the growth of the ATX-Gx antibody discovery platform. The position will report directly to our Head of Platform Licensing and will be based at Alloy’s corporate headquarters in Boston, MA. Successful candidates for this position will be outgoing team-players, with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for customer service. The Alloy team is dedicated to the mission of making better medicines. In this position you will play a key role in expanding Alloy’s network to enable this mission.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source new partnership opportunities through industry partnering tools such as Pitchbook and BCIQ, conference networking tools, LinkedIn, and direct outreach
- Manage and develop core customer management databases including a CRM
- Coordinate and support Alloy’s partners, including Alliance Management systems and processes.
- Lead onboarding of new Alloy partners, ensuring a smooth transition from contracting to Alliance Management
- Coordinate legal review of contracts and present final agreements to Alloy executive leadership
- Collaborate with Alloy’s R&D team to deliver and enhance systems to deliver technical support of platform partners
- Track industry trends and maintain competitive landscape
- Occasional travel as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- B.A. / M.S. in biological sciences with 3-5 years of experience in science-driven business development or sales
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritize conflicting needs, and following through on projects to achieve successful completion
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with external and internal stakeholders, with respect and professionalism
- Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational and logistical skills, including demonstrated comfort with managing remote event coordination and various communication tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office and GSuite applications; experience with CRM tools preferred
- Proven ability to contribute to company culture and team building
