Allrise Capital, a rapidly growing Orange County based investment manager is seeking to add a Vice President of Finance to its well-versed team. The new team member will be expected to immediately oversee financial operations of multiple exciting projects. Current members of the team are well-rounded and are involved in many aspects of the business. The firm focuses on investing in a variety of asset classes including, but not limited to public markets, real estate, venture capital and private equity. Given the entrepreneurial culture of the firm, individuals are given meaningful responsibility at the onset and are given exposure to growth opportunities early on.

This role will work closely with the firm’s executive team and will be heavily involved in the firm’s public markets initiative. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in financial operations and a high interest in investment management in both, public and private markets. (experience in investment management is a plus)

BUSINESS UNIT: Finance/Accounting

JOB TITLE: Vice President of Finance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financials including monthly executive reports
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Oversee accounting and FP&A functions of the company
• Manage and comply with federal and state tax filings
• Comply with SEC filing requirements
• Review costs for optimal budget planning
• Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures
• Work in collaboration with the legal team on accounting compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ Years of finance / public accounting experience
• Previous experience in the investment management industry is preferred
• High interest and experience in public markets accounting
• Strong leadership qualities
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or economics (graduate degree a plus)
• Knowledge of common banking practices
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Experience complying with tax-filing regulations (international tax experience a plus)
