Linux Systems Administrator

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX
• Minimum of two years’ experience with hands-on Linux administration
• Experience supporting Help Desk at Tier 1, Tier 2, and/or Tier 3
• Experience working within a distributed team and supporting remote site users
• DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher
• Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time CONUS and OCONUS, scheduled and unscheduled with short notice
• Must be able to support rotating morning shifts (8 AM–5 PM and 6 AM – 3 PM)
• Must be able to support occasional priority actions outside of normal duty scheduling
• Troubleshooting experience
• Networking experience
• Customer service experience
• Responsive Help Desk experience
• Microsoft Office product experience
• Excellent communications skills
• Scripting experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Data Center experience
