FLU/COVID LVN NEEDED-ASAP START

Kasier Permanente is looking for qualified LVN's to work in their Flu / COVID clinic in Bakersfield, CA!

Job requirements:

-Must have strong injection skills

-BLS from American Heart Association (No exceptions)

-Valid CA LVN license

-Must be able to comply with JCAHO accreditation

• Bilingual in spanish is a plus!

Job responsibilites:

• After successful completion of the required training, to accurately collect specimens via nasopharyngeal or sputum for the testing of the COVID-19 virus
• May be required to measure temperatures and gather *information from visitors/members/staff and physicians entering client's medical office buildings per current CDC guidelines and client policy and procedures
• Proficient with administering vaccinations – including influenza, Tdap, Hep A or B, or pneumonia (during the influenza season)
• Skills required for vaccine handling, preparation, transportation and storage (during the influenza season)
• Administer flu immunizations for pediatric members (as dictated by state regulations) (during the influenza season)
• Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events
