JOB TITLE Data Security Specialist

DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security.
• Provide support for facilitating and helping agencies identify their current security infrastructure and define future programs, design and implementation of fire-wall and other related security issues on LANs/WANs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with the DoD and Army RMF process

• IAT-III certification (CISSP, CASP, CISA)

• Familiarity with Virtualization, particularly VMware

• Familiarity with Linux Servers and Clients, preferably certified

• Experience working in Development and Test enclaves

• SANs or other technical cyber certification (GSEC, GCED, etc.)

Experience implementing technical controls, STIGs, and mitigations as a part of the Army RMF process

A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required:

• Understanding of business security practices and procedures
• Knowledge of current security tools available
• Hardware/software firewalls and their implementation
• Different communication protocols
• Encryption techniques/tools
• Familiarity with commercial products (ex. - Domain Name Systems, public–key encryption technology, Smartcard, Cyberguard, TimeStep)
• Current Internet and electronic commerce technology

OTHER DETAILS

• Min experience: 6 years
• Must have Secret clearance or be clearable
• BS degree
