WHO WE ARE:

The Derek Newton Allstate Agency in Moline is actively looking to fill full-time Sales positions.

We are a well-established, third-generation agency and we’re very proud to be growing our customer base every month. We assist prospects and customers face-to-face as well as via phone calls and emails, and are searching for additional team members who can use their skills to help our agency become even more successful. WE’RE THE LARGEST ALLSTATE AGENCY IN ILLINOIS AND IOWA OUTSIDE OF THE CHICAGO AREA.

COMPENSATION: $40,000 - $80,000+

·         Based on experience

·         Competitive hourly pay plus the highest commission rate in the area with no cap

IN THE SALES ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

·         Quoting and writing personal lines policies for new clients and existing customers. Because we’re so well-known in the area, the vast majority of quotes are inbound so there’s very little cold-calling!

·         Reaching out to prior customers to win their business back

·         Contacting existing customers to write additional lines of insurance

THE FOLLOWING IS WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

·         A Property & Casualty Insurance producer license is required

·         Prior sales experience is preferred

·         Experience with common PC applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc)

·         Ability to remain organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks appropriately

·         Ability to establish relationships with prospects and customers and conduct follow-ups as needed

·         Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematics (arithmetic, averaging, percentages, etc)

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         A high attention to detail

·         Dependability and the ability to follow company/agency procedures to ensure compliance

·         Ability to work well in a team atmosphere, offering and requesting assistance as needed
