Allways Precision has a centerless grinder process development and customer training specialist. Main priorities include setup and running grinders for customer machine qualifications. Priorities include providing machine start up assistance at customer facilities and providing advice for customer specific applications. Main customers include industrial manufacturing clients in industries such as aerospace fasteners manufacturers, bar grinding service providers, and contract manufacturing companies.

Technical knowhow involved:

• Process knowledge and some operator experience with general machine shop equipment.

• Cincinnati Centerless Grinder machine familiarity

• General centerless grinding understanding of theory for thru-feed and in-feed applications

• Knowledge of process development and machine setup to meet customer requirements for Centerless Grinders

• General mechanical aptitude with industrial machinery operations

• Grinding Automation (Gantry loaders, bowl feeders) experience a plus but not required

• Servo motor, CNC controls (B&R and Yaskawa), PLC familiarity is a plus but not required

This is a Field Service and Customer Support position which requires 50% travel and the following customer engagement skills:

• Ability to travel to customer locations with a high concentration of midwestern US states
• Customer relationship skills requiring introducing Allways Precision and our portfolio of support and services
• Manufacturing Process and Cycle time skills with understanding of Cpk fundamentals and engineering print tolerance knowledge
• Confident with face to face customer support interactions and phone follow up communications
• Ability to work with customers both face to face and remotely.
• Ability to create and execute personal monthly schedules
• Strong communication and interactions with Plainfield, IL home office personnel
