JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for disciplined, competitive and highly self-motivated individuals to add to our team!  Our Entry Level position will help you build the foundation for what can be a highly lucrative career in the fast-paced and rapidly expanding logistics industry.  

ENTRY LEVEL OPERATIONS - FULL TIME - MON - FRI 4PM TO MIDNIGHT SHIFT (FOR 1ST YEAR; OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE TO DAYS AFTER THAT TIME)

_Duties include but are not limited to:  _

• Obtaining shipment updates from contractors 
• Answering Phones (high call volume) 
• Negotiating rates with contractors (carrier sales) 
• Providing shipment updates to customers 
• Sending update emails frequently to update parties 
• General Data Entry

Success in this position will quickly open paths to other positions in Sales, Account Management, Customer Service, and Operations Leadership. Retaining and cultivating talent is a top priority at Ally Logistics and we look to promote outstanding individuals early and often!

QUALIFICATIONS:

A successful candidate must possess the following traits/skills:

• Bachelors Degree required (or currently attending, please provide details)
• Computer proficiency (40 WPM+ typing, familiarity and speed with basic Windows app) 
• Excellent communication skills
