    Our Drayage Operations Team is looking for an energetic and competitive Drayage Specialist who is willing to go the extra mile for the sales team, Ally's customers and drayage carriers. We are looking for someone with a self starter mentality to assist in the development and success of our Drayage Department through sourcing and building carrier relationships. This position includes collaborating with the department head, the drayage specialist team, as well as direct customers and carriers to help convert more business opportunities through drayage shipments. Our team is looking for the right individual who is team oriented and confident in their ability and skill to develop enduring carrier relationships and ultimately, help assist in the success of the Drayage Department development.

    JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Building and establishing carrier relationships to grow our drayage carrier network
    • Communicating and negotiating rates with drayage specific carriers
    • Sourcing drayage carrier options for customer drayage opportunities
    • Providing updates and solutions to team members
    • High volume phone and email outreach
    • Tracking and tracing drayage specific loads
    • Assisting in training the drayage processes to sales and operations personnel
