Job Title:
Senior Linux Systems Administrator
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years’ experience with hands-on Linux administration
- Create, modify and troubleshoot shell scripts as needed/required
- Work with other teams/discipline to gather/collect statistical metrics
- Five years’ experience supporting Operations at Tier 2 and/or Tier 3
- Experience and exposure to network security (Splunk, Clearswift, etc.), basic networking (protocol, switch / router exposure, etc.)
- Experience working within a distributed team and supporting remote site users
- Demonstrated experience leading a small team
- DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph
Other Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time CONUS and OCONUS, scheduled and unscheduled with short notice
- Must be able to support rotating morning shifts (8 AM–5 PM and 6AM – 3PM)
- Must be able to support occasional priority actions outside of normal duty scheduling
