    Job Title: 

    Malware Reverse Engineer 

    Duties & Responsibilities: 

    • Isolates, reviews, analyzes, and reverse-engineers malicious binaries and/or code to determine functionality and capability.
    • Conducts dynamic and static analysis of samples with emphasis on disassemblers like IDA Pro or Ghidra and debuggers like OllyDbg, x64Dbg, WinDbg, Immunity, etc.
    • Identifies and defeats known and custom packers.
    • Analyzes multiple assembly and scripting languages, other operating system binaries (ex. ELF), web shells, and other file-specific malware such as Office or PDF malware.
    • Codes in Python and other operating or scripting languages.
    • Reverse engineers code from mobile devices.
    • Authors official written technical reports that address the specific file examination requested and provides court testimony.

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Experience using Python and other operating or scripting languages
    • Experience conducting dynamic and static analysis of samples with emphasis on disassemblers like IDA Pro or Ghidra and debuggers like OllyDbg, x64Dbg, WinDbg, Immunity, etc.
    • Minimum of a Secret Clearance
    • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2+ years, or a Masters degree and no years required, or a High School diploma and a minimum of 8 + years of experience.
