Job Title:
Asset Management Specialist
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing software license entitlements, consumption, and compliance tracking within an organization with 2,000 servers and hundreds of software titles.
- Ensure ServiceNow accurately reflects entitlements and license usage.
- Coordinate remediation of non-compliant software licenses
- Assist IT solution architects with evaluation cost effective software licensing alternatives
- Identify licensing impacts and licensing strategy related to moving workloads to AWS/Azure
- Perform licensing true-ups including Microsoft EA
- Manage responses to vendor initiated audits
- Develop, maintain and improve software asset management policies and processes.
