In some areas, our scholar achievement now matches some of the highest performing schools in the Commonwealth. We have been nationally recognized for our work with English Language Learners. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ROLE: 

    Alma del Mar is seeking a great teacher to be a building substitute. The building substitute will work across a building of to 450 scholars in grades K-8. The teacher will be expected to collaborate with other team members. To succeed on this team, you must set and maintain a high bar for yourself and for your students, you must grow constantly, and you must effectively build relationships with students, families and colleagues.

    WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    We seek outstanding teachers with the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least one year of experience working with kids 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • A high level of personal organization
    • Bilingual preferred
