GROWING COMMERCIAL ROOFING CONTRACTOR in Rancho Cordova, CA, (currently 10MM revenue), specializing in high quality commercial roofing services for all types of commercial buildings is looking for an experienced Controller to oversee general accounting operations. Experience in construction field finance is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status of the company.
• AP, AR reconciliation.
• Month End, Year End.
• Analyze spending/ job costing.
• Plan, assign and review other staff’s work, that may be carrying out accounting functions (ex. entering invoice, Pos, timecards).
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Benefit calculation/reconciliation
• Worker's comp calculation, reporting and audit assistance.
• Payroll processing oversight, support, and compliance.
• Job compliance oversight - all aspects of prevailing wage, liability insurance, etc.
• Ability to prepare necessary financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles. Liaise upper management to improve financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel.

SALARY: 70K-85K, depending on experience
