    Suburban Washington AV rated Law Firm seeking a Pre-Litigation Workers Compensation Paralegal. The Paralegal/Case Manager will assist with cases to ensure the efficient and timely processing of the different stages of pre-litigation. Looking for a competent candidate who has experience managing workers' compensation claims including medical-legal processes and assisting with answering multiple phone calls, managing mail, assisting in daily administrative duties, and contributing to a positive work environment for rewarding work! Compensation is based upon experience - $21 per hour Responsibilities: Responsibilities and Duties: • Drafting letters and correspondences; Obtaining and organizing documentation required at different stages of the case from beginning to end; Obtaining client's prior history; Reviewing medical records; Checking account balances; Maintaining regular contact with clients; Performing other essential functions necessary for the success of the department. Qualifications: • Talented communicator and writer • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and maintain quality while working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Demonstrated proficiency and experience with computer software. • Strong research skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are a plus. • Candidates should submit their resume and cover letter containing their salary requirements.
