Job Description

The Production Intern will assist the Marketing & Creative teams with all ongoing production needs. This includes assistance on photoshoots with managing and prepping samples, assisting stylists, prepping the set, sourcing props, etc. This role will report directly to the Digital Content Creator, and will also assist in file management, image uploads, and communicating with vendors, and general marketing projects as needed.  

This is a paid temporary position, and the schedule and hours are flexible. The candidate will be working 15-20 hours per week (Monday-Friday between hours of 9-5). This position requires the candidate to work in-person at the Alpha Industries NYC office, located at 62 Allen St. There may be opportunity for some remote work throughout the duration of the internship, but the primary job responsibilities of the role will require a majority of time spent in-office. Flexibility to work full 8 hour days as needed is a plus, but not required. Hourly rate of $15.00 per hour. Position will be immediate through August. 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Digital Content Creator + Creative Team in prepping for photoshoots- steaming samples, setting up shots, changing backdrops,
• Work with the Marketing Intern and Marketing Coordinator to ensure all samples are accounted for prior to each shoot
• Mange file organization, upload, and naming
• Assist stylist team during style out, fittings, and during shoots
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Currently enrolled in a college or university, or a recent graduate
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Power Point and Word
• Experience with Adobe software including Photoshop and InDesign a plus but not required.
• Photography experience a plus but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with video production and photography
• Strong listening, written and oral communication skills
• Organized and strong attention to detail
• Interest in marketing, photography, production
• Interest in fashion preferred
