    ABOUT THE JOB

    AOA is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Frontend Engineer to lead the frontend development of AOA's frontend eCommerce projects.  The Frontend Engineer's responsibilities will include the development of ‘Headless' eCommerce projects including the integrations of AOA's technology partner solutions. She/he will be emersed in the latest technologies, set and evolve coding standards, and bring new ideas to life.

    The ideal Frontend Engineer for AOA will be able to collaborate with stakeholders of all levels, architect solutions, and interact with clients professionally and respectfully.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop eCommerce projects with a specific focus on frontend frameworks
    • Research and scope eCommerce projects - communicating solutions with clients and internal teams
    • Collaborate with AOA technology partners - developing reusable components for the integrations of their solutions
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, brand strategists, project managers, and other engineers

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree
    • 3+ years of experience in software development
    • 1+ years experience developing enterprise-level React, Vue, or Angular applications with a heightened focus on performance
    • Expert knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
    • Expert knowledge of frontend technologies, standards, and UI design
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects and set priorities
    • Strong sense of ownership

    BONUS POINTS 

    • Experience with platform-based eCommerce solutions - Jamstack
    • Working with GraphQL
    • Familiarity with TypeScript
    • Experience with Node, Express
