Job Description
THIS POSITION IS A POSITION THAT INVOLVES TRAVEL THROUGHOUT DESIGNATED COUNTIES WITHIN STATE OF INDIANA. CANDIDATES WILL REPORT TO 2 NORTH MERIDIAN, INDIANAPOLIS ON THEIR FIRST DAY FOR TRAINING, MEET AND GREET THEIR MANAGER AND TO COLLECT IOT ASSETS. TRAINING COULD BE 2-3 DAYS. TRAVEL TO 2 NORTH MERIDIAN WILL BE REQUIRED 1X A MONTH, THEN MOVING TO 1X A QUARTER. IT IS LIKELY THIS TRAVEL WILL THEN OCCUR AS A GROUP/WITH THEIR TEAM.
Referencing the district map, work will begin and end at the following meeting locations: Ft. Wayne - 3, Lafayette - 4, Indianapolis - 5, Terre Haute - 7.
- The Local Testing Specialist reports to the Local Emergency Operations Site Coordinator.
- Personnel will work in an assigned geographical district but may be required at times to consolidate in order to support a large scale incident.
- Applicants should possess good interpersonal skills, be competent with common computer systems, and able to adapt to work with current and emerging technology to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform assigned tasks and assist in inventory and maintenance of assigned equipment and supplies.
- Maintain proficiency or receive routine training in testing procedures based on assignment.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the patient registration portal on site.
- Work will be accomplished as part of a larger mobile team.
- Individual will be assigned to a specific district mobile unit - will be riding to locations with other staff members
- Work will begin and end at a predetermined location.
- Personnel will ride to and from sites in the mobile unit unless otherwise authorized by direct supervisor.
- Agency will provide all supplies and equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- MVR is required part of the background screening - Must have valid Drivers License
- Previous administrative experience working within a medical office
- Previous patient registrar experience (plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work with other staff and external partners cordially and professionally, either through written or verbal communication.
