Alpha Tech Pet is a small business in Littleton, MA specializing in sanitation supplies and animal healthcare products to the animal care industry since 1989. We are looking to fill an entry-level “full time” sales position for inside and outside sales. The ideal candidate should have a great upbeat personality, enjoy people, be committed to excellence, be hard working, be comfortable with sales, and be a capable team player. The candidate should also have the ability to lift boxes up to 50LBS for occasional warehouse work as may be needed in our small office environment. The candidate must be able to learn our line of products in a relatively quick manner and be able to multi-task several projects at once.

Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The dress code is business casual for sales calls, and comfortable jeans and shirt for warehouse days. We have a great team of people who work hard and get along very well together. We're looking for another staff member who can compliment and fit in well with our current team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Inside sales & customer support - calling on existing and prospective customers to generate interest in Alpha Tech Pet’s products.
• Outside sales - calls will initially be made with the manager for a short time until you are brought up to speed.
• During calls/visits we expect you to inform customers of all our products, answer questions, and take orders.
• Attend local and out of state tradeshows on an as-needed basis. It could be 3-4 times per year.
• Always build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Work collectively with sales team members and co-workers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fun positive attitude at work every day.
• LOVE working on and off the phone.
• Typing skills are a must; (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.…)
• Social media experience on Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest a PLUS.
• Combine your great personality and sales skills to form a great working relationship with customers and fellow employees.
• Show a strong work ethic, a competitive nature, and team-work skills.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Always demonstrate superior communication skills.
• A team player is an essential part of this position.
• Multi-tasker.
• Must be PUNCTUAL, neat, organized and pay close attention to details.
