AlphaGraphics Park Cities | North Dallas is a locally owned and operated visual communications company servicing clients of all shapes and sizes. AlphaGraphics offers printing, signs, fulfillment, design, marketing services, and mailing solutions to our customers. We are customer-focused, and deadline driven. Our work environment is fast-paced and team oriented. AlphaGraphics currently has an opening for a full-time on-site Bookkeeper / Human Resources administrator.
Working in this position you will be primarily responsible for managing the accounting process from A/R to A/P, as well as overseeing the Human Resources activities of the company. This position requires communicating with customers, vendors, other employees, and ownership.
Although these are the primary responsibilities for this position, you will also be exposed to other facets of the organization.
Duties include:
Daily deposit reconciliation and entry
Daily check and ACH entry in MIS system and bank deposits
Daily emailing of invoices and following up on past due accounts
Enter and code vendor invoices and schedule payments
Reconcile all bank statements and credit cards on a monthly basis
Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
Prepare and enter Journal Entries in both QuickBooks and MIS software
File and process sales tax payments
Prepare monthly operating reports and metrics
Maintain HR, payroll, and benefit records
Manage and enroll employees in benefits through third party
Respond to requests from customers, vendors, and others in a timely manner
Other duties and reporting as needed
Requirements:
3 Years’ experience as a bookkeeper or accounting manager
Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
Proficient with QuickBooks Online (certification a plus, but not required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google software
Ability to learn and adopt new software as necessary
Extremely detail oriented
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Experience with Human Resources activities is a plus
The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and security
Proficient at and enjoys problem solving and research
