AlphaGraphics Cleveland is looking to add a new team member, we are actively seeking a Customer service person and Graphic Designer to join our growing team! This role is responsible taking and entering orders, designing and producing art and copy layouts for material to be produced utilizing visual communications. Knowledge and experience of Digital Printing including Large Format Printing Equipment is preferred. If you are an enthusiastic, self-starter with a customer-first mentality and you thrive in a fast-paced small team environment where every day brings a new challenge, then this is for you!

This is a hands-on position and projects are time sensitive. You will also assist at times in other departments like digital printing and Production when back up is required. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and detail-oriented with a great work ethic and organizational skills.

What we expect of you:

Driving new sales and also maintaining existing customers.

Actively communicate with clients to understand and deliver orders to their satisfaction.

Support clients in effectively conveying their message in print or digital media using color, type, illustration, and other various techniques

Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for brand materials

Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines

Understanding center workflow and how other departments and center personnel interface with large format department

Qualifications:

Post Secondary training in graphic design

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good project and time management

Knowledge of file preparation including working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop or equivalent

Desire to continue to learn new products and large format applications and continue to improve production and business development process

Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening and background check

Adobe Creative Suite experience required

Print design experience preferred

4+ years in print production environment preferred
