Sign Production Specialist

AlphaGraphics, located in Olathe, KS, has an immediate opening for a full-time Sign Production Specialist. The Sign Production Specialist must possess strong creative skills and the technical proficiency required for a fast-paced work environment. The ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities in a print production environment is critical, along with a willingness to support other departments if necessary.

Responsibilities:

Loading printers with media and changing ink

Cutting, weeding, masking, and laminating

Experience with installing vinyl lettering/spot graphics on vehicles

Mounting large-format prints to various substrates and surfaces

Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner

Onsite/offsite measuring for templating in Adobe Illustrator

Willing to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities

Maintains substrate and supply inventory and alerts management when inventory is low

Perform routine maintenance on all equipment

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience with EFI flatbed and Colex CNC cutter preferred

Experience with RIP software (Onyx/ Fiery) is preferred

Must be able to use and read a standard tape measure

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills are critical

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and the ability to effectively prepare and troubleshoot a variety of file formats and edit PDF documents is a plus

Enjoys fast-paced working environment

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
