    We are currently searching for Server Assistants to join our team.

    Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the F&B Manager, a server is a dining room professional. A Server Assistant is responsible for food and beverage service in the Alpine CC dining venues. The Server Assistant will have familiarity with all types of service that Alpine CC provides for its members and guests. The incumbent is also responsible for knowledge of all food and beverage that is served at Alpine CC. Server Assistants are required to enthusiastically receive food and beverage orders while interacting with our membership in a way that is consistent with Alpine CC standards.

    The way Servers Assistants present themselves to members and non-members is critical. Appearance, proper verbal expression and demeanor are all variables of professional service. Proper etiquette and protocol must be followed while serving in a prompt efficient and friendly manner. All Server Assistants shall adhere to the steps of service as the guideline for providing service.

    "Personalizing" service by learning member's names and preferences should always be a priority for service staff. Server Assistants shall function under the concept of "one team" by helping others in all rooms and positions. An Alpine CC Server Assistant has a keen ability to anticipate the needs of everyone that is in the dining venue.

    A Server Assistant is responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in the service staff areas. If the Server Assistant is not certain about any procedure, technique, or standard, attention must be brought to the supervisor immediately.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Assists in the distribution of Amuse Bouche during A La Carte service.

    Ensures proper settings of tables in the dining area.

    Assists Servers in the distribution of drinks and food during service.

    Assists in resetting, clearing, and movement of tables and chairs.

    Provides members and their guests with friendly, efficient, and memorable service with the focus on hospitality and making great experiences.

    Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage control regulations and laws. Checks identification of those appearing underage and denies service when appropriate. Monitors individual consumption and alerts management to situations of concern.

    Has proficient menu knowledge and is familiar with all items and ingredients that are served at the club.

    Delivers food orders as directed.

    Proficiently enters and communicates food and beverage orders on a POS computer terminal or dupe check.

    Ensures proper sequencing/timing with kitchen, reports any delays or problems to supervisor.

    Serves each course using proper techniques.

    Participates in service briefings to ensure product knowledge.

    Assumes responsibility of side work and server station maintenance.

    Ensures room setups are accurate and complete.

    As directed, completes special assignments as requested by supervisor(s)

    Qualifications:

    Positive Attitude.

    Knowledge of service etiquette and protocol.

    Familiarity with computerized order systems.

    1-year prior experience in food service.

    Familiarity with fine dining operations.

    Ability to climb stairs and lift to 35 lbs. daily is required.

    Standing for long periods of time.

    Working split shifts and shifts that may exceed 12 hours in duration.

    Working various shifts including weekends and holidays.
