Job Description

JOB SUMMARY OF THE WAREHOUSE LABORER:

• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete 
• Construct boxes for processed product
• Follow appropriate processes for product and lot changes

JOB DUTIES OF THE WAREHOUSE LABORER:

• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials
• Perform general physical activities
• Load or unload material or workpiece into machinery
• Package goods for shipment or storage
• Sort material or products
• Communicate with supervisor and peers

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS OF THE WAREHOUSE LABORER:

• High school education or GED
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Forklift experience in a warehouse setting is a plus
• Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
