    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Development and design of software application using Java/J2EE architecture. 
    • Responsible for driving design and architecture meetings using complex design patterns
    • Work with the Product Development team/ Product Manager to gather the technical requirements and create the design/ architecture diagrams/documents.
    • Develop web applications using Java/J2EE frameworks along with other technologies like HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML, WSDL, JAXB, JAX-WS and JAX-RS 
    • Deployment of Web Server, App Server and database server in various environments like development, SIT, UAT and Prod fix.
    • Technical activities include developing code in Java, J2EE (JDBC, Servlets, Struts1, Struts2, spring, SOAP and Restful Web services) technologies, Migrating the Web services from Star team to
    • Rational Team Concert (RTC) and Database (ORACLE Server). 
    • Work with Messaging based frameworks using JMS, Spring Integration, Events based APIs
    • Develop and analyze SQL stored procedure and. complex SQL Queries. Optimize and fine tune the queries for performance improvement.
    • Responsible for leading a technical team comprising of Java front end, web services, PL/SQL developers located across offshore, nearshore and onsite.
    • Schedule and prioritize work and plan a sequence of development activities that accomplish the planned targets.
    • Set priorities and provide reports to the management.
    • Participate in release/Sprint planning meetings.
    • Develop implementation plan and coordinate with ‘Release Management' team for project execution.
    • Coordinate with the various teams such as Quality Assurance, DevOps, Infrastructure to ensure stable development environment.
    • Maintain proficiency in software languages, application development, testing and serve as an expert in area of responsibility.
    • Utilize technical expertise to manage multiple assignments, including large and critical projects to assure timely and cost-effective objective delivery.
    • Microservices and Mulesoft are additional requirements

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    Must have:  

    • 8 + Java 8, RESTful services
    • 4 + Micro services, mule soft and any knowledge

    Desirable: 2 years OpenShift and Spring boot  

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in: Developer-Java/JEE-Java/JEE-Core Java
