    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The IT Manager’s role is to plan, coordinate, and manage activities related to the design, development, integration and implementation of information systems, software, applications, and databases.  This individual is also responsible for the maintenance, support and upgrades of existing systems and applications. The goal of this role is to ensure IT systems and people are effective and functioning within the limits of budget, time, and specifications of the company.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·       Configuration and regular updates to our in-store POS system menus

    ·       Simplification, configuration, and regular updates of all internal and external guest ordering platforms

    ·       Standardizing companies’ data gathering and warehousing and ensuring consistent and accurate reporting.

    ·       Manage restaurant and office support IT ticketing system, work with office staff and operations team to ensure SLA’s are met and adhered to.

    ·       Maintain a knowledge base of reoccurring issues & their associated fixes, investigate root causes, and develop/present solutions.

    OTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·       Manage information technology and computer systems

    ·       Identify and initiate systems opportunities/projects

    ·       Plan and monitor pilot and parallel testing efforts

    ·       Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs

    ·       Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis

    ·       Ensure proper licensing and adequate support for all system users

    ·       Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

    ·       Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

    ·       Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

    ·       Adheres to regulatory, developmental and company policies in an ethical manner

    ·       Audit systems and assess their outcomes

    ·       Ability to perform any of the duties of the IT staff

    ·       Present strategic solutions and/or alternative systems with the intent to benefit the business and improve current IT infrastructure

    ·       Active participant on the leadership team, representing IT and supporting all other departments’ IT needs related to their objectives and initiatives

    ·       Other duties as assigned to facilitate the efficiency of operations

    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    ·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field

    ·       3 – 5  years of experience in information technology management

    ·       Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

    ·       Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

    ·       Ability to manage personnel

    ·       Strong analytical skills along with demonstrated problem solving ability

    ·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audience

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

    The IT Manager manages all employees and vendors of the IT department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department
