Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, manufacture, and deliver avionics products on time and within planned and approved budgets.
· Responsible for the transition of new defense related products into production.
· Establish and comply with procedures and processes.
· Manage, schedule and plan daily operations for a team of production personnel and infrastructure.
· Design, manage, and direct all processes for production products.
· Develop procedures for manufacturing production products.
· Schedule, manage, direct, and successfully complete all product schedules and planning.
· Handle weekly GIDEP alerts and DMSMS/obsolescence alerts and disposition from Q-Star™
· Efficiently manage production test assets.
· Manage production of COMSEC controlled items.
· Develop basis of estimate for new product programs.
EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
· Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline required
· Experience with printed circuit board assembly and testing
· 3+ yrs. of experience as production supervisor/manager with In-depth knowledge of production management
· Experience with military production programs preferable in avionics electro-mechanical assembly
· Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
· Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
· Ability to be hands-on with soldering, epoxy potting, painting, and assembly
· Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
· Team player attitude and philosophy
· Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
· AN ENGINEERING DEGREE IS REQUIRED
