Job Overview
Responsibilities:
Triaging, Debugging software failures reported by Customers on Android, Autograde Linux, QNX , Hypervisor software stack
Documenting application notes for Customers on key features, design
Optimize, Measure, Verify KPI benchmarks , Custom applications for Automotive
Identifying, verifying and delivering fixes for the software failures
Working closely with technology teams to support the fix process
Supporting teams outside the Android/AGL/QNX team on all dependencies
Supporting Qualcomm customers when required to resolve launch-gating issues.
Work hand in hand with Product, Program Management, Technology teams for smooth commercialization
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of industry experience in the following:
Debugging complex embedded software systems/applications
Working knowledge of C/C++
Experience in UART,SPI,BLSP,I2C , Kernel
Preferred Qualifications
Hands on experience in writing, debugging peripheral drivers ,resolving stability issues
Experience in optimizing performance, power for a plethora of use cases on mobile, automotive devices on Android, Linux or QNX
Strong ability to solve problems in a non-linear fashion
Prior experience with Android and/or Qualcomm MSM software platforms
Proven ability to develop and debug Android, Linux, QNX
Experience with git and build systems
Experience in Multimedia Frameworks, OpenGL, OpenMax
Mature interpersonal skills with an ability to collaboratively work with many varied teams and resolve problems spanning many disciplines
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment
Experience with Multimedia sub systems like Graphics, Display, Video is a plus
Educational Requirements
Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
