You will administer cloud-based environments that support our SaaS offering that are implemented on Kubernetes.  You’ll secure our environment from security threats deploying patches and least-privilege configurations.  You will continuously measure the availability, latency and overall system health, using tools like Grafana, Elastic and Kibana.   You have experience in testing REST based API interfaces, and implementing security and vulnerability scans.  You love being a self-starter and identifying weak points in application/infrastructure, and driving issues to resolution.  You’ll look for opportunities to automate the recovery for incidents that we cannot prevent in advance.   You will use Atlassian Jira to track issues to resolution based on their priority.  You will interface with a broader SRE team to further improvements to our SaaS offering.   You’ll work deeply in multiple cloud environments - AWS, Google, Azure.  You’ll document findings and solutions you create using Atlassian Confluence.

Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.

Kubernetes experience – at least 2 years

Linux experience – at least 5 years

Implementing best practices in Kubernetes and docker image security

Docker skills and docker orchestration

Strong experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker

Coding and scripting skills (prefer bash / python / golang)

AWS and GCP/Azure experience

SaaS / Cloud Application support experience

Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS)

Implementing security and vulnerability scans

Good experience in testing REST based API interfaces
