Job:

• Head of Investor Relations

Responsibilities:

• Communications to current investors, prospects and cap intro.
• Distribution of all marketing and fund offering documents
• Distribution of all performance related communications
• Tracking of all distributions for compliance purposes
• Improve current process for tracking existing and prospective investor relationships using Backstop, including data clean-up as needed.
• Assist the Portfolio Manager (“PM”) in composing and editing communications for investors and prospective investors.
• Assist the PM in managing his email inbox.
• Assist PM with managing personal and professional relationships
• Manage investor subscriptions and distributions and monitor for redemption requests.
• Assist CFO / COO with operations and compliance as it relates to investor relations
• Assist with scheduling and managing the PM’s travel related to research and/or marketing.
• The position may require occasional business travel.

NOTE: fundraising is not a requirement for this position.

• You have experience working at a financial services firm within an IR function, preferably a hedge fund.
• 5+ years of experience within an IR function.  
• Able to understand/communicate the firms global macro worldview and investment themes to investors/prospective investors.
