    Position: Financial Accountant

    We are looking to hire an LA-based financial accountant to join our growing team. This person will be a key member of the growing accounting and finance team of an early stage, venture-backed company. You will work in a strategic, analytical capacity, and have the demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a startup environment. This position provides an immense opportunity for growth in experience and career development.

    What you'll do:

    • Liaise with our member success managers (“MSM”) and sales team to ensure proper process
    • of creating sales orders and purchase orders
    • Support a wide variety of functions which include transactional processing, monthly close
    • activities, financial analysis and the implementation of financial and compliance controls
    • Ensure proper margin recognition (Revenue & COGS), reconciling/recording transactions
    • (Sales, Deferrals, Accruals, Returns, Discounts, etc.), and monitoring sales orders, purchase
    • orders, etc.
    • Prepare daily cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts
    • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations (AR, Accrued Liabilities, Prepayments, etc.)
    • Preparation of financial statements and other management reporting and analysis
      Monthly reconciliation and payment of sales tax

    What you’ll bring:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • 2-5 years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong work-ethic and communication skills
    • Excellent follow through and time management skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Maintain high attention to detail and strict deadlines
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
